Edinburgh to St. Andrews

On our third day in Edinburgh City, we decided not to play golf as it was drizzling. We ate our breakfast at the guest house, checked-out, then left and proceeded to St. Andrews. It also stopped drizzling.

We used the highway and we passed by the Firth of Forth bridge between Queensferry and North Queensferry and Inverkeithing.

After Inverkeithing, we decided to take the A921 and A915 roads via Aberdour, Kirkcaldy, Leven, Lundin Links, and Largoward.

It started drizzling again just before the town of Kirkcaldy, which was already part of the Kingdom of Fife. But afterwards, it was not only drizzling but rained heavily especially between the village of Lundin Links and the community council of Largoward.

We arrived in St. Andrews, Kingdom of Fife just after 3:00 p.m. Travel time from Edinburgh to St. Andrews by car was about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
